Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago with actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances on TV as Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in the ABC sitcom Roseanne. But her parents would not permit her to perform until she turned an adult due to the effects stress would have on their daughter. Perry was shy in high-school and didn't act. She started acting at Northwestern University to gain friends upon her transfer to the university from Boston University. Perry began her career at New York after graduation, getting small roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry move back to California and pursue a career as a theater actress. She performed on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. Her father was also in the production. Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 on The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry made an appearance in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. Then in 2017, she appeared as a recurring role on the ABC film Scandal which starred her father. In the same year, she got a role as a young model of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again playing a young version of her mother's role. Despite having a family connection to this character, she received the role via an audition.
