Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge of the job, but eventually, she lost interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to let it go. After that, she started her first cookbook. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. In addition, she offers products that range from food items to storage containers and equipment. Ina is not a student at any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and has a complete self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy cooking style are well known. She is known for her easy recipes like Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and made with beef Bourguignon, and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
