David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. With animated animations and dramatic videos of celebrity chatter, his program has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts on ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint: Refugees in America. His journeys have brought him to every corners of the earth, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards and awards from The Associated Press.
