Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina that same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her early years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
