Pooja was born 13 October 1990 in Mumbai Maharashtra, India. Her performances as an Indian Film Actress in Tamil Telugu Hindi are well-known. She was raised in an Hindu family by Manjunath, Latha and their son. There is a sister named Rishabh Hegde. Pooja Hegde's family comes from Udupi. She does not just speak Hindi fluently, but is also fluent in Tamil Telugu Kannada as well. Pooja was always interested in modeling and fashion from a young age. She then decided to pursue a career as an actress and model. When she was in school, she was pursuing her dream of competing in modelling assignments.
