Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and singer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is primarily a performer. She maintains that music is her primary passion. She is experimenting in since the age of nine years old. When she was 12, music became significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. In the age of 13, she began making music. The first time she recorded an album at 14 years old. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of America but with Hispanic heritage. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico, she still feels strongly proud of her Hispanic heritage. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also studying the Spanish language. The singer recorded the Spanish version of the song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for the first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen from a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" no votes by the judge during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. She was originally an individual performer. However, after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
